This is a book of a small tribe’s gigantic feats told from an intergenerational perspective of women, crafted by women and LBGTQ writers, artists, advocates and their allies. Their collective strength was told through the point of view of the living woman warrior—Bai Bibyaon Ligkayan Bigkay.
This is a compelling narrative of the extraordinary resilience and strength of indigenous Lumad women and their tribe as they go through the struggles in a world that continually tries to undermine their human dignity, rights to land and life.

Handwoven beadwork
This beadwork was made by Lumad women and children in evacuation centers and communities throughout Mindanao. An enduring cultural practice, this beadwork symbolizes their self-respect and dignity as indigenous people. We have a limited supplies of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, lanyards and headdresses made by Lumads as offerings to their supporters in exchange for monetary donations.
